Now that we celebrated Mother's Day with both moms, I can write about the cards John made for all the moms in the family! I laid out some paper and had John use a bottle scrub brush to dip into paint and the splatter onto the paper. He had a ton of fun doing this and it made some pretty art work! Once John went to bed, I cut the painted paper into strips.

Brad glued the strips onto a sheet of folded paper to complete the cards.

So easy and very unique for Mother's Day!

Lasty, here is my most recent attempt at photoshop. My sisters and I are taking my mom for a day out of pampering for her Mother's Day Gift so this is what we gave her today. I am excited to spend the day with the girls!
Those are really cute, and probably much more special to the grandmas than a store-bought card!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to the Mad Skills party!
Special & a smart way to use all that one-of-a-kind art the kids make that you don't want to throw away, but can't always save. Thanks for linking to Craftastic Monday - would love for you to add the party button to your post or blog:)
