Toddler Art Tuesday #4

If you saw my post yesterday, you read that last week we talked about cars, trucks, planes, etc. John and Bella did a cute art project using cars and trucks.

I put paint on a plate for each of the kids and they drove the cars and trucks through the paint and then onto their paper. John really enjoyed driving the cars around and would even drive onto Bella's paper! I got three cars from the dollar section of Target because I didn't want John's good cars to get paint all over them. The big trucks at Target were actually perfect because they had big tires to make neat tracks. They also had tiny cars that made smooth tracks. This would be a good thing to talk about while they were painting...but we just kind of skipped over that discussion!

After the painting, the kids washed the cars in the backyard. They actually did a great job of cleaning off the cars and I only have to quickly wipe them down later!

I link up to these parties!

  1. Love this idea! I am impressed that you were outside for this, we still have snow on the ground here.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment! They make my day when I read them!...unless you are being mean, then they don't make my day. :)
